Tower of Letters Hints And Clues
Tower of Letters is built around clues. The clue gives the direction of the answer, and each correct letter reveals more of the hidden words.

Each puzzle starts with a short hint. The hint may describe the answer directly, point to a category, or give a related idea. You do not need to type the full answer. You guess letters, and the board reveals every place that letter appears.
Use The Hint With The Letter Pattern
The best clues become more useful after a few letters are revealed. For example, if the clue suggests a food and the answer has two words, a revealed C or E might point you toward a specific dish, ingredient, or cooking term. The clue and the pattern should be read together.
When A Clue Feels Broad
Some clues are intentionally broad, especially on harder puzzles. In that case, use common letters to uncover structure first. Once you have a few confirmed letters, return to the clue and ask what answer fits both the meaning and the visible pattern.
Writing Better Custom Clues
For custom puzzles, a good clue should help without giving the answer away immediately. "A yellow fruit" is very direct for "banana". "Often found in a lunchbox" gives the player more to think about while still being fair.
Fair Clues Make Better Games
A fair clue usually points to one answer once enough letters are visible. Avoid clues that could describe too many unrelated answers unless the puzzle is meant to be very difficult.
